The Panasonic DMP-BD605K - Blu-Ray Disc Player is compatible with several video formats that include DVD-Video, DVD-R & DVD-RW, DVD+R & DVD+RW, and DVD-RAM. It has a built-in audio decoding to PCM for Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS, DTS-HD, and DTS-HD. This high-definition disc player produces multi-channel audio PCM output through HDMI. The player is designed with bit stream audio output for Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS, DTS-HD, and DTS-HD Master Audio. Some of the file formats supported by the player are Divx, JPEG, MP3, and MPEG2. It is equipped with HDTV, Blu-ray high-definition discs for producing video upconversion of up to 1080p signals. A high-quality Ethernet port is used in the player for accessing online content and features, and possible future upgrades and thus it requires broadband connection for downloading the additional information from Blu-ray, Youtube, and Google etc. The Panasonic DMP-BD605K - Blu-Ray Disc Player is packed with other interesting features like a front panel SD memory card slot and USB port for playback of digital photos, AVCHD video, and MP3 music files and storage of BD-Live bonus materials downloaded from Internet.
