Features

Intelligent Scene Controller:
This circuit monitors the video signal in real time and adjusts the backlighting accordingly. When a scene is dark, the the brightness of the backlighting will decrease to make dark areas darker. When the scene is bright the set will increase the backlighting to better match the brightness of the scene. The result is an LCD that has a wider dynamic contrast ratio, with dark scenes and bright scenes that are tweaked to provide optimum performance and look more true to life.

IPS panel:
The wide viewing angle provided by the In Plane Switching (IPS) LCD panel lets viewers enjoy an extraordinary picture from the left, right, above or below. Colors are clear and vivid even when the screen is viewed from a wide angle. With Panasonic, it’’s easy for everyone in the room to enjoy the show.

Active Light Control System and Active Contrast/Gamma Control System:
The Panasonic LCD AI incorporates two new technologies: the Active Light Control System and Active Contrast/Gamma Control System that adjust backlight brightness and contrast so that each scene has fantastic contrast and detail. Flowers look vivid and natural, while landscapes are remarkably bright and true to life.

Side-mounted AV input:
Allows connection of video components through the side, so you can easily connect a camcorder or video game system without having to get all the way behind the set.
