Along with being one of Canon’’s brightest and lightest projectors, the LV-S4 is also our quietest. At a mere 4.8lbs, the LV-S4 is a modest 10.6" x 7.8" x 3.3" - and it still puts out an impressive 1500 ANSI lumens. So, you’’ll have plenty of brightness wherever you take it - your home theater, classroom, or office - and you won’’t get tired carrying it there. Plus, even in a small room or office, your audience won’’t be distracted by noise, as the projector runs at a quiet 32dB in Silent Mode (37dB in Normal Mode).

Ultra-Impressive Image Quality from an Ultra-Portable
In addition to a surprising number of lumens, Canon also packs an impressive array of technologies into the LV-S4 to give you the image quality you’’ve come to expect from any Canon product. Not only does the LV-S4’’s native SVGA give you 800 X 600 resolution for crisp display of video or text images, it also supports XGA resolution through high-quality scaling. The projector’’s contrast ratio (300:1) and image uniformity (85%) combine with the Genuine Canon Optics Wide Zoom lens to provide your audience with bright, sharp, vivid images. Plus, the LV-S4’’s Progressive Scan circuitry converts 480i/575i signals from your TV, VCR or DVD player to a progressive scan signal for better image quality. The end results are images your audiences will love.

One Projector for all Your Video Needs
Whether it’’s input from your DVD player, digital camcorder, digital camera, computer, VCR, or HDTV, your LV-S4 can handle it. The LV-S4 has the connectivity to handle VGA (RGB Analog), Component, S-Video, and Composite.

Versatility and Quality in a Lens
The LV-S4 has an impressive Genuine Canon Optics 1.2X Wide Zoom lens, great for a wide range of room sizes. You can project a 100" screen with a throw of only 10.5’’ - just what you need to create a big-screen experience at home. In addition to the lens, the projector’’s optical performance comes from its Digital Keystone Correction which lets you project in a less than ideal setting and correct for up to +/- 20 degrees of vertical tilt. What your audience sees on screen is the result of a perfect match between lens and projector.

Ease of Operation
The LV-S4 is both easy to use and flexible. Despite its portability, you can also use the LV-S4 as part of your permanent video installation because it can be used in rear projection set-ups and, with an optional ceiling mount, it can be installed on the ceiling. A wireless IR remote with laser pointer makes operating the LV-S4 a breeze, while the PIN Code Lock and Function Key Lock makes operation secure. And in the classroom, the LV-S4 is easy to operate because the Greenboard Mode adjusts the projected image so that it is easily legible on your chalkboard.
